




{"id":15683,"date":"2026-05-14T08:45:45","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T06:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.habitatinsulae.es\/?p=15683"},"modified":"2026-05-18T08:45:54","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T06:45:54","slug":"fundacion-metropolitan-house-y-upf-impulsan-un-estudio-sobre-vivienda-social","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.habitatinsulae.es\/ca\/fundacion-metropolitan-house-y-upf-impulsan-un-estudio-sobre-vivienda-social\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundaci\u00f3n Metropolitan House y UPF impulsan un estudio sobre vivienda social"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La <strong>vivienda<\/strong> social vuelve al centro del debate en Espa\u00f1a con la presentaci\u00f3n del estudio <em>Housing Associations: la provisi\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de la vivienda social<\/em>, impulsado por la <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionmetropolitanhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n Metropolitan House<\/a> y la C\u00e1tedra de Vivienda Digna y Sostenible de la UPF Barcelona School of Management y<\/p>\n<p>El informe analiza c\u00f3mo adaptar a la realidad espa\u00f1ola modelos internacionales consolidados, como las <em>housing associations<\/em>, para mejorar la gesti\u00f3n, ampliar la oferta de alquiler asequible y reforzar la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el sector p\u00fablico, el sector privado y el tercer sector.<\/p>\n<p>La jornada, celebrada en la UPF-BSM, reuni\u00f3 a expertos institucionales, acad\u00e9micos y sociales para debatir nuevas f\u00f3rmulas ante uno de los principales retos estructurales del pa\u00eds: el acceso a una vivienda digna en un contexto de precios elevados y parque social insuficiente.<\/p>\n<h2>Vivienda social y modelos europeos para Espa\u00f1a impulsados por la Fundaci\u00f3n Metropolitan House<\/h2>\n<p>El estudio plantea una revisi\u00f3n de experiencias internacionales con el objetivo de identificar herramientas \u00fatiles para incrementar la oferta de vivienda protegida y mejorar su gesti\u00f3n. La propuesta se estructura en torno a tres ejes: modelo econ\u00f3mico-financiero, impacto social y gobernanza.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la inauguraci\u00f3n, <em><strong>Rafael Angulo<\/strong><\/em>, presidente de la <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionmetropolitanhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n Metropolitan House<\/a>, subray\u00f3 la necesidad de colaborar con administraciones p\u00fablicas y entidades sociales para aplicar modelos que ya funcionan en otros pa\u00edses y que pueden agilizar el desarrollo de nuevas viviendas sociales en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>El informe tambi\u00e9n destaca la consolidaci\u00f3n de entidades sin \u00e1nimo de lucro capaces de combinar profesionalizaci\u00f3n, compromiso social y cooperaci\u00f3n estable con las administraciones. Esta evoluci\u00f3n puede ser clave para crear un ecosistema m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido de alquiler asequible y gesti\u00f3n residencial de largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, iniciativas como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.habitatinsulae.es\/ca\/genivs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GENIVS INSULAE<\/a> se alinean con una tendencia basada en conectar gesti\u00f3n profesional, inversi\u00f3n social e impacto urbano para reforzar nuevas soluciones de acceso a la vivienda.<\/p>\n<h2>Vivienda protegida, j\u00f3venes y alquiler asequible<\/h2>\n<p>El acceso a la vivienda afecta especialmente a los <strong>j\u00f3venes<\/strong>, a las familias con rentas medias y bajas y a los hogares que no encuentran alternativas en el mercado libre. Por eso, la ampliaci\u00f3n del parque de vivienda protegida se ha convertido en una prioridad social y econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p>La mesa redonda estuvo moderada por Ramon Bastida, director de la C\u00e1tedra, y cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de Carme Trilla, presidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3n H\u00e0bitat3; Hugo Sintes, socio fundador de GENIVS INSULAE; y Josune Huidobro, directora de operaciones de Provivienda.<\/p>\n<p>Carme Trilla puso en valor el trabajo de la C\u00e1tedra de Vivienda Digna y Sostenible de la UPF-BSM y de la <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionmetropolitanhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n Metropolitan House<\/a>. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 el \u201ccompromiso y trayectoria\u201d de <a href=\"https:\/\/metropolitanhouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metropolitan House<\/a> en el \u00e1mbito de la vivienda social y en la garant\u00eda de acceso residencial para personas y familias vulnerables.<\/p>\n<p>Josune Huidobro remarc\u00f3 la necesidad de contar con un marco legal y apoyo institucional desde el Estado y las comunidades aut\u00f3nomas para que los proveedores sociales de vivienda puedan participar con mayor capacidad en la construcci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de vivienda p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<h2>Vivienda, inversi\u00f3n social y GENIVS INSULAE<\/h2>\n<p>Hugo Sintes, de GENIVS INSULAE, aport\u00f3 la visi\u00f3n internacional desde su experiencia con <em>housing associations<\/em> en Inglaterra y desde el trabajo desarrollado junto a la Fundaci\u00f3 H\u00e0bitat3 y la Asociaci\u00f3n Provivienda.<\/p>\n<p>Sintes se\u00f1al\u00f3 que estas organizaciones l\u00edderes en Espa\u00f1a cuentan con una \u201cenorme capacidad de gesti\u00f3n\u201d tanto empresarial como social, adem\u00e1s del compromiso necesario para impulsar proyectos complejos de vivienda social.<\/p>\n<p>Su intervenci\u00f3n refuerza una de las principales ideas del estudio: Espa\u00f1a dispone de entidades con experiencia y capacidad operativa, pero necesita mecanismos estables de apoyo para que puedan crecer, profesionalizarse a\u00fan m\u00e1s y ampliar el parque residencial destinado a alquiler asequible.<\/p>\n<p>El an\u00e1lisis conecta con el debate europeo sobre la necesidad de movilizar inversi\u00f3n social, financiaci\u00f3n estable y posibles instrumentos de fondo europeo para fortalecer el papel de los proveedores sociales de vivienda.
